Our good friends at Tahoe California Native Plant Society will be hosting a fun event on May 2 and we are promoting this event on their behalf. This talk will include much discussion on iNaturalist, highly relevant to any plant enthusiasts, especially those interested in the upcoming 2025 Tahoe Wildflower Big Year.

Join Steve Matson for a presentation on how the digital revolution has transformed the way we learn about and share information about native plants. Steve has spent over two decades exploring, collecting and photographing northern and eastern Sierra plants and his extensive body of work is frequently featured on Calflora, as well as iNaturalist and Calphotos. The doors open at 6 pm. Books, posters and other native plant information will be on hand and light refreshments will be served.
