Spend the morning gliding on cross-country skis during a winter wonderland excursion hosted by TINS and the Tahoe Rim Trail Association. An adventure along Spooner Lake on Tahoe’s East Shore, we will take breaks periodically to learn about forest ecology while talking about the plants and animals that make up Tahoe’s wintery ecosystem.
Please bring your own cross-country skis. Depending on the group, we will travel 3-5 miles. We will go as fast as the slowest member of the group and can make adjustments along the way. Our route will not have steep hills.
