Earth Day Bird Walk Along Truckee River

Explore with Sarah Hockensmith and fellow birding enthusiasts as we search for our favorite feathered friends, stroll along the Truckee River via the Legacy Trail, and immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds of spring. Late April is an exciting time in Truckee, with migratory birds arriving and activity picking up along the river and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity to connect with nature, learn from others, and enjoy a peaceful morning outdoors. All experience levels are welcome, whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious to see what’s out there. Bring binoculars and a friendly smile. We can’t wait to see you there!
