Kick off California State Parks Week by joining a bird walk at Washoe Meadows State Park, led by TINS’ Director Will Richardson and in partnership with Tahoe Area Sierra Club and the Sierra State Parks Foundation. Expect a mostly flat, slow-paced stroll along the riparian habitat of the Upper Truckee River. Bring the usual items for a successful bird outing: layers, sun protection, binoculars, water, snack, and perhaps your favorite field guide.
