Join plant ecologist Molly Ferry for a guided 2–3 mile hike through Angora Burn Area in South Lake Tahoe. Explore native plants, meadow herbs, and understory flora while learning from Molly’s work updating the classic Plants of the Tahoe Basin (Graf, 1999).
Friday Flower Forays are more flexible in their objectives compared to Wildflower Wednesdays, aiming to cast a wider net and take in as many interesting plants as possible. Think of them as more traditional wildflower walks with a continued effort to update Michael Graf’s 1999 Wildflower Guide.
