Brought to you by the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science, the Tahoe Nature Chase celebrates many aspects of Tahoe's natural history during all seasons of the calendar year.

To register or learn more details about the Tahoe Nature Chase, click here.

Beginning January 1st, participants will explore the Lake Tahoe region in search of designated nature-observation challenges that are assigned for each month throughout the 2017 calendar year. It is important to note that this event is not strictly a competition, but an opportunity for the entire community to learn about, appreciate, and experience the Tahoe region's natural phenomena, from the waters of Lake Tahoe to the top of the highest mountain, and through the seasons

The event is free and open to anyone, though TINS members (memberships starting at $35/year) will enjoy additional perks during the Tahoe Nature Chase including private outings and prizes from our many sponsors. For more information about memberships, or to become a member, click here. To register for this event, click here.

To actively participate in the Tahoe Nature Chase, particpants will record their Nature Chase Challenge observations via the TNC.tinsweb.org website.
